There are some steps to clean your cloudy lenses.

These steps are too simple to follow and it will regain your lenses back to clearer state.

You should also know about the wrong ways of cleaning so that you can avoid any damage on your eye wear.

These steps are also applicable to clean sunglasses, safety glasses, sports wear and drive wear.

To clean the eyeglasses, we require Glass cleaner and a soft, clean cloth.

1. Wash your hands:

Before cleaning the eye glasses, wash your hands thoroughly.

If you are cleaning your glasses with dirty hands, it will damage your lenses.

2. Acquire a soft and clean cloth:

When you purchase new eyeglasses, you will get a microfiber cloth for cleaning your eyeglasses.

If you lose the micro fibre cloth, then go for any soft and clean cloth.

Soft fabric is suitable for cleaning lenses.

3. Glass cleaner solution:

Glass cleaner solutions are used to clean the lenses without harming the lenses or coatings.

Just spray a little amount of the cleaner onto the lens and then do a single wipe (left to right or right to left) with a soft and clean cloth.

If you want to clean quickly, then take a generous amount of eyeglass cleaner solution on a soft cloth and then wipe the glass with it.

It will save time and regain your lenses back to look clear.

Microfiber cloth should also be washed regularly with warm water.

If you didn’t wash, then the cloth will make any damage during next time cleaning process.

Note:

Don’t use synthetic fabric or tissue papers to clean your eyeglasses.

Because using these for cleaning will make scratches on the lenses.

Don’t clean in circular motion.

It will make scratches on the lenses.

Don’t use saliva to clean the eyeglasses.

Saliva increases dirtiness on your eyeglasses and it will be unhygienic.

Don’t use dish washing soap to clean your eyeglasses.

Dish wash soap will harm fibre lenses and its coatings.

Also, soap will harm frames made with some materials.
